Siri Eldevik Håberg

Responsibilities
Siri Eldevik Håberg is the Director of the Centre for Fertility and Health, a Centre of Excellence (SFF) funded by The Norwegian Research Council. Håberg is a physician with main research interest in perinatal epidemiology. She has long experience with combining data from cohort studies, biological analyses and national registries. Håberg's current research focus is on causes of fertility problems and fetal loss, and risk factors and consequences of assisted reproductive technologies. Her work involves registry based population studies, and studies of genetic and epigenetic associations with pregnancy exposures, pregnancy outcomes and early life diseases. Håberg has also been involved in several registry-based projects on influenza and Covid-19,safety of vaccinations and medications in pregnancy, during childhood and in the general population. Håberg leads and collaborates in several international research groups on environmental exposures, pregnancy and child health outcomes. She is the Norwegian PI in the ERC Synergy project (BIOSFER) on fertility in young adults. See more at www.cefh.no .
