Mapping review
|Updated
A systematic reference list from an updated literature search.
Summary
The Norwegian Knowledge Centre for the Health Services was commissioned to find relevant research about the effectiveness of rehabilitation for patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME). In 2011 we published an overview of systematic reviews about the rehabilitation of CFS/ME. This publication is an update of the literature search, performed to find more recently published systematic reviews.
Methods
We used a previously designed search strategy and searched several medical databases for systematic reviews published after 2011. We performed the electronic search for reviews in March 2013. All the references from the search was evaluated by two persons, independently and selected according to a set of inclusion criteria.
Results
We identified a total of 401 references in the database search. Five was potentially relevant reviews; Castell 2011, Larun 2011, Davidson 2011, Alraek 2011 and Reid 2011. These five reviews were grouped according to the targeted intervention.
