Forsker, PhD
Fagområder
Christian Page is an epidemiologist with background in computational and genetic epidemiology. He has a master's degree in statistics from the NTNU (2012), and a PhD in genetic epidemiology from University of Oslo (2016). He has a long track record working with genetic epidemiology in large representative population cohorts, such as the Norwegian Mother, Father and Child cohort (MoBa), the Trøndelag Health Study (HUNT), the Norwegian Woman and Cancer study (NOWAC) and the Rotterdam study.
His research interests span the genetic architecture of chronic diseases and intergenerational transmission of disease risk. This includes using advanced modelling in large complex data sets, such as extended family studies, genetic and other biological markers, combined with temporal information. Another research interests is the used of causal models in epidemiology from registry data, and how to identify causal effects from different environments.
