Kjetil Elias Telle

Kjetil Telle is executive director for the Division of Health Services. He has been acting executive director for the Division of Climate and Environmental Health and director of health services research at The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH). Before joining NIPH in 2019, Telle worked as director of research, head of research and research fellow at Statistics Norway. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Oslo and has been adjunct professor at The University of Stavanger. Using econometric methods on Norwegian registry data, he has contributed to research and analyses in fields like epidemiology, health services research, health economics, labor economics, education economics, environmental economics, and tax and regulation economics. Telle has been member of several government committees and boards.
