Cancer patients’ experiences with somatic hospitals in 2009. Results for each institution

The Norwegian Knowledge Centre for Health Services has carried out a national questionnaire survey among adult cancer patients who were patients at outpatient clinics or wards of general hospitals in the period 20 September − 10 December 2009. The survey was commissioned by the Health Directorate.
Data collection was conducted in the period January − May 2010. All hospitals took part with the exception of Rikshospitalet which chose not to participate in the survey.
The main results of the survey and method statement are presented in a national report. This report presents results from questions in the questionnaire for each hospital and all hospitals combined.
The results for each hospital is presented in six different tables:
- Table 1: Results on issues concerning gender and age, disease and diagnosis and self-assessed health.
- Table 2 and 3: Results on empirical questions from the outpatient clinics / dagavdelinger.
- Tables 4 and 5: Results on empirical questions from the wards.
- Table 6: Results on other questions of experience, whether it's outpatient or wards.
National results are presented in the same way as for the hospitals.
