No change in advice for healthcare workers or other professional groups

The Norwegian Directorate of Health clarifies there are no new recommendations about the use of face masks by health and care workers or other professional groups.

Health and care worker shall continue to assess the risk of transmission when in contact with patients and users, and shall use personal protective equipment according to the NIPH's advice and local routines, see this article in the Coronvirus guidance:

For other professional groups, the Norwegian Directorate of Health and Norwegian Institute of Public Health are reviewing branch-specific guidelines for any necessary updates.
