Ane-Marthe Solheim Skar

Responsibilities
Skar is responsible for the research activities in the cluster. She conducts her own research within the subject areas of implementation research and mental health. She is currently leading an implementation study in Uganda related to intersectoral mental health promotion. Skar supervises students at master's, specialist and Ph.D. level. She is the chair of Global Health Norway and board member of Network for Implementation Research (NIMP), the Norwegian Research School for Global Health, and the International Child Development Program (ICDP), among others. Skar has previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oslo with part-time position at the University of Bergen, and as a researcher/research leader at the Norwegian Center on Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS), where she now holds a part-time position.
Background
Ph.D. in psychology (2009-2015) from the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo, Globalization and Development (2006-2007) fro University College Innlandet, Master of Philosophy in Psychology (2005-2006) and Bachelor of Arts (2004-2005) from the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo.
