The health risks of Scandinavian snus consumption were evaluated in 2005. Since then, the use of snus in Norway has increased substantially, particularly among young people. The Ministry of Health and Care Services commissioned the Norwegian Institute of Public Health to re-evaluate the health risks of snus consumption. The main report is published in Norwegian but this is the English summary in pdf format.
