The Norwegian Cardiovascular Disease Registry is a registry of diseases of the heart and blood vessels. Here is a short description of what is registered.
What is registered?
Information about people with cardiovascular diseases who have been in contact with the specialist health service (taken from the Norwegian Patient Register).
- Norwegian patient registry - Directorate of Health
Information about causes of death for people with cardiovascular diseases (taken from the Cause of Death Registry).
Information about treatment and results from the specialist health service is obtained from national medical quality registries for cardiovascular diseases. The medical quality registries contain more detailed information about certain types of cardiovascular diseases or their treatments.

- Information on the cause of death for people who have been in contact with the specialist health service before the death, or who died of a cardiovascular disease.
