Public Health Survey 2025 in Telemark

Telemark County Council and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) are conducting a county-wide public health survey this autumn in Telemark County. The purpose is to map the health, well being, and quality of life among residents in the county. Ideas2Evidence is assisting FHI with the execution of the survey. Approximately 60,000 randomly selected residents in Telemark will receive an invitation to participate.

If so, you have been randomly selected to take part in the Public Health Survey in Telemark. Your response will help to paint a more accurate picture of how people in Telemark are doing.
The aim of the survey is to learn more about health, wellbeing, and quality of life among adults in Telemark. Your unique experiences and perspectives matter. As a selected resident of the county, your input will help the county council and municipalities shape future initiatives to make Telemark an even better place to live for everyone. This survey is your opportunity to make a difference in your community.
The questionnaire is available in both Norwegian and English. To participate, please log in using your personal access code, which you received by email or SMS. We sincerely appreciate your response!
What does participation involve?
- You can participate if you have received a text message or email with a link to the questionnaire
- The questionnaire can be filled in using a mobile phone, tablet, or PC.
- The questionnaire is available in both Norwegian and English.
- The estimated time to complete the questionnaire is approximately 15-20 minutes. You may take breaks along the way, as your answers are saved automatically.
- Participation is voluntary, and you can skip any questions you prefer not to answer.
- If you do not wish to participate, you may use the link in the email to decline the invitation and avoid reminders.
About the survey
The survey is conducted by Telemark County Council in cooperation with FHI, assisted by the agency Ideas2Evidence. Those invited to participate are randomly selected from the National Population Register among residents aged 18 or over in Telemark.
In the questionnaire, we ask about health, well‑being, local neighbourhood environment, quality of life, and other issues considered important for the county’s public health. The results will be used to support public health work in your local area.
The survey results will only be published at group level, meaning that you cannot be identified in analyses or reports. The data collected will be used for research which will generate new knowledge about health and well‑being, and factors that influence these. All data is stored securely and in accordance with data protection regulations. For more information about privacy and your rights as a participant.
