County Public Health Survey 2025 in Buskerud

Buskerud County Council and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) are conducting a county-wide public health survey this autumn in Buskerud County. The purpose is to map the health, wellbeing, and quality of life among residents in the county. Ideas2Evidence is assisting FHI with the execution of the survey. Approximately 62,000 randomly selected residents in Buskerud will receive an invitation to participate.

If so, you have been randomly selected to take part in the Public Health Survey in Buskerud. Your response will help to paint a more accurate picture of how people in the county are doing.
The survey aims to gather valuable insight into how residents perceive their own health, wellbeing, quality of life, and local environment. The results will provide municipalities and the county council with unique, local knowledge to support the development of healthier and more sustainable communities across Buskerud.

What does participation involve?
- You can participate if you have received a text message or email with a link to the questionnaire
- The questionnaire can be filled in using a mobile phone, tablet, or PC.
- The estimated time to complete the questionnaire is approximately 15-20 minutes. You may take breaks along the way, as your answers are saved automatically.
- The questionnaire is available in both Norwegian and English.
- Participation is voluntary, and you can skip any questions you prefer not to answer.
- If you do not wish to participate, you may use the link in the email to decline the invitation and avoid reminders.
About the survey
The survey is conducted by Buskerud County Council in cooperation with FHI. Those invited to participate are randomly selected from the National Population Register among residents aged 18 or over in Buskerud.
In the questionnaire, we ask about health, wellbeing, local neighbourhood environment, quality of life, and other issues considered important for the county’s public health. The results will be used to support public health work in your local area.
The data collected will be used for research which will generate new knowledge about health and wellbeing, and factors that influence these. The survey results will only be published at group level, meaning that you cannot be identified in analyses or reports. All data is stored securely and in accordance with data protection regulations.
