Treatment of illnesses that affect women specially and illnesses that affect people differently depending on sex: Protocol for evidence and gap map. - project description
Published Updated
We will conduct an evidence and gap map of systematic reviews about treatment of illness that affect women and others who were categorized as a girl at birth specially and illnesses assumed to affect people differently depending on sex.
Summary
We will, on commission from the Ministry of Health and Care Services in Norway, conduct an evidence and gap map of systematic reviews about treatment of illness that affect women and others who were categorized as a girl at birth specially and illnesses assumed to affect people differently depending on sex.
Evidence and Gap Maps are a systematic evidence synthesis product that display the available evidence relevant to a broader research question.
In order to identify relevant studies, we will conduct a systematic search for literature. Titles and abstracts will be considered according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. References will be screened by two researchers independently, first by title and abstract and subsequently in fulltext, for inclusion and exclusion. Included studies will be coded in the EPPI reviewer software according to a predefined framework. Identified research will be presented in a report in Norwegian, and in an interactive web-based evidence and gap map.
