Outdoor Air Handbook - Air Quality Criteria
23 different pollution components found in outdoor air have been assessed against their effect on health. Air quality criteria have been set for 16 of the components. The criteria are set so low that, based on current knowledge, the vast majority of people can be exposed to these levels without having harmful effects.
