Responsibilities
I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Fertility and Health, a Centre of Excellence (SFF) funded by the Norwegian Research Council. My dissertation is in the field of perinatal epidemiology, with a special focus on birthweight, using data from the Medical Birth Registry of Norway (MBRN) and the Norwegian Mother, Father and Child Cohort Study (MoBa).During the pandemic, I have also been involved in Covid-19-related research, both regarding vaccinations of pregnant women and effects of lockdown measures.I have previously been affiliated with the Norwegian Armed Forces Joint Medical Services, and have used Conscription data to look at mental and physical health of Norwegian adolescents.
Background
I am a Medical Doctor, and did 6 months of residency in Drug and addiction medicine before I started my PhD in March 2019. During my years as a medical student, I completed the Medical Student Research Program at the Department of Medical Genetics at Oslo University Hospital.
