Population survey on gynecological cancer
Article

Women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, cervical cancer or endometrial cancer are now given the opportunity to report on their health and quality of life shortly after diagnosis, and then one and three years later.
Mapping of late effects
Living with late effects after cancer treatment can be challenging, and it is important for the patient group that we gain an overview of the burden and duration of late effects, and how these affect quality of life.
Through the population survey, the health and quality of life of women both with and without these cancer types will be mapped. This will provide us with knowledge about how common various late effects are and who is affected, for example based on the treatment they have received. Because women without cancer are also invited, we will gain more knowledge about which ailments are more common in the general population and may be due to, for example, aging, and which ailments can be linked to cancer and cancer treatment.
Questionnaire
We use translations of validated questionnaires from European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORCT) (www.eortc.org) in the survey.
Who can participate?
Women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer or cervical cancer from July 1, 2023, will receive an invitation to participate.
