When disclosing data to external researchers, the Cancer Registry uses a disclaimer (limitation of liability).
A premise for the use of data from the Cancer Registry of Norway is that the following is included in the introduction or acknowledgement of the publication:
“The study has used data from the Cancer Registry of Norway. The interpretation and reporting of these data are the sole responsibility of the authors, and no endorsement by the Cancer Registry of Norway is intended nor should be inferred.”
