There were not three new deaths within the last 24 hours. The number of COVID-19-associated deaths reported to the NIPH by date of death (in weeks) is stated in the weekly report published every Wednesday.

“On average, there have been between 0 and 2 deaths per week since July. We have not seen an increase in deaths, despite several major outbreaks,” says Dr Jacob Dag Berild in the Department of Vaccine Preventable Diseases.

The NIPH does not publish information about individual deaths.
