Based on the weekly assessment of the transmission situation for coronavirus, the Government has decided that these regions will change from yellow to red in the infection map for Europe. As a result, the travel advice will change. All travellers from these regions who come to Norway from Saturday 3 October at 00.00 a.m. must go into 10 days of quarantine.

Meanwhile, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health recommends removing quarantine upon arrival from the Finnish regiona Päijänne-Tavastland (Päijät Häme). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has therefore issued an exemption from the travel advice for this region, which will change from red to yellow on the infection map for Europe.
