Updated figures for confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Norway

A total of 33 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Norway.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health has today confirmed that another eight people have tested positive for coronavirus. None of them are seriously ill or have been admitted to hospital. In total, 33 people are infected in Norway.

Of the eight new cases, three are from Viken, one is from Troms and Finnmark, three are from Vestland and one is from Agder. Seven cases are linked to the outbreak in northern Italy and one case is connected to the outbreak at Oslo University Hospital, Ullevål.  

They are isolated at home and are being followed up by the local healthcare service in their respective municipalities.

As per 03.03.20, a total of 33 people have tested positive in Norway.  They are spread geographically:

Agder: 3
Oslo: 7
Rogaland: 1
Troms og Finnmark: 2
Vestland: 12
Viken: 8
