Department of registry Informatics
The department manages, operate, and develop the Cancer Registry's professional ICT systems, including the data center at Montebello.
This includes areas of expertise for software development and professional systems, cancer notification development, screening systems, ICT architecture and innovation, data center and ICT security. The department is also responsible for following up suppliers in the ICT area, as well as acquiring and procurement of IT equipment.
In addition, the department is responsible for ICT strategy and research on registry informatics and solutions for health registries and screening programs. The department conducts research that contributes to supporting innovative and future-oriented use of technology and informatics in the areas the department is responsible for managing, developing, and operating.
The department consists of 5 sections: Section of architecture and innovation, Section of cancer notification development, Section of system administration, infrastructure and network security, Section of registry system solutions and Section of screening system and population services solutions.
