Responsibilities
Heupink works within the global health cluster to support Norwegian partner countries, as Ghana and Palestine, to support the use of evidence in decision making. She advices on the institutionalization of Health Technology Assessment processes, supports production of HTA reports, conducts economic evaluations, co-develops capacity strengthening exercises, and coordinates various workstreams in this work. She is interested to find ways to transfer evidence between contexts, as well as the use data in decision making.
Background
Lieke holds a MPhil in European Health Economics and Management (University of Oslo, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Management Centre Innsbruck, and University of Bologna) and in MSc Population Studies (University of Groningen). These degrees followed after BSc in Liberal Arts & Science with specialization in Health Science (University of Groningen). She has a strong interest and ambition to apply research and use data to achieve better health outcomes equitable and efficiently.
