Director General’s Office
The Director General’s Office coordinates and supports the DG’s activities and priorities, both within the institute as well as towards external relations.
The Director General’s Office is responsible for a number of functions that are essential to support the Director General in performing her responsibilities. These include strategy and organizational development, coordination of the top level dialogue with the Ministry of Health and Care Services and the Directorate of Health, participation in committees, working groups and projects on behalf of the DG, and preparing presentations and speaking points.
Deputy Director General
The Deputy Director General is responsible for reviewing the institute's operations to ensure that we are better equipped for the future in terms of financial robustness, digitalization and development to meet external demands and deadlines. The Deputy DG has special responsibility for interdisciplinary activities across the divisions, including digitalization, business development and financial models. In addition, the Deputy DG will follow up some of the major strategic initiatives.
Internal Audit
Internal audit is an independent, objective assurance and advisory function that will add value and improve organizational operations by providing risk-based objective assurance, advice and insight. The Section for Internal audit at NIPH covers the entire organization and reports directly to the director. The Internal audit function shall contribute to NIPH achieving its goals by evaluating and improving operations by assessing and proposing improvements in processes for management, risk management and control. The function shall not have operational responsibility or authority and will not be involved in activities that may affect independence or objectivity. The internal audit function shall follow up how the organization handles the results given in completed audits.
