Cluster Randomized Controlled Trials
Study site: Palestine
eRegQual: Electronic health registry with interactive checklists and clinical decision support for improving quality of antenatal care
Trial registration: ISRCTN, ISRCTN18008445
The eRegistry can host electronic point-of-care tools for health workers that can support healthcare delivery. eRegistry’s interactive checklists and clinical decision support serve the dual purpose of patient care and data capture.
The eRegQual study is embedded within the national implementation of the MCH eRegistry in the West Bank, Palestine. We will assess if and how the eRegistry’s interactive checklists with clinical decision support changes care processes for pregnant women.
eRegTime: Electronic health registry use by care providers in primary healthcare- a time and motion sub-study
We will conduct a time and motion study to compare changes in workflow and time taken for documentation in the primary healthcare clinics with and without the eRegistry.
