New EEA network on children and adolescent health

Published

Representatives of the countries receiving EEA and Norway Grants for public health programmes, and their Norwegian Programme Partners, have decided to build a network on children and adolescent health. The aim is to enable sharing of knowledge and challenges, building capacity, facilitating new cross-country partnerships and contributing to sustainable and effective programme implementation.

In their public health programmes for EEA and Norway Grants, all six countries prioritise the health of children and adolescents, so a lot can be gained from cooperating across the borders.

Among the topics of common interest are mental health and well-being, physical activity in school, vaccination, and organising and financing health services.

The network will meet on a regular basis, twice a year. Reports and other relevant information from the gatherings will be posted on this web-page.
