What signs and signals observed by employers in pre-school and primary- and secondary school is associated with maltreatment in children?
We were asked to conduct a systematic review on which signs are associated with maltreatment in children.
Norwegian directorate for health is going to publish «a national guideline on handling concerns with children in pre-school and school». Employers in pre-school and primary- and secondary school can observe children and young people over long time. They are in a unique position to see early signs of maltreatment in children and young people. We were asked to conduct a systematic review on which signs are associated with maltreatment in children. The knowledge will be used to inform employers on when they should respond to concerns and judge whether they should refer cases further.
