Treatments for exposure to and perpetration of violence and sexual abuse
Project
|Published
We shall, on behalf of the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies, map systematic overviews of the effects of treatment for suspects and practitioners of violence and sexual assault.
Summary
The number of existing systematic reviews summarising the effects of therapeutic interventions for victims and for perpetrators of violence and sexual abuse, is unknown. It is also unclear whether the evidence comprises users’ treatment experiences. The mapping of existing systematic reviews on treatments for victims and perpetrators will form an important point of departure for locating relevant evidence, and for identifying knowledge gaps.
