Summary
The Cochrane Collaboration has played an important role in promoting well-informed decisions about healthcare. It has engaged a diverse group of people from around the world, and it has affected their lives and the lives of many others. It has achieved a great deal, but much remains to be done. Reflecting on this experience may help to inform decisions about the Cochrane Collaboration and possibly other collaborative efforts to promote well-informed decisions about how to make the world a better place.
