The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is advising against non-essential travel to the Swedish region Kalmar.

Based on the weekly assessment of the transmission situation for coronavirus, the Government has decided that the region will change from yellow to red in the infection map for Europe. As a result, the travel advice will change. All travellers from this region who come to Norway from Saturday 24 October at 00.00 a.m. must go into 10 days of quarantine.

Press release from the Norwegian government (in Norwegian).

The map shows the areas affected by quarantine upon arrival in Norway from the 24th October 2020. The Government's advice is to avoid all non-essential travel abroad. Red colour = high transmission and quarantine is required upon arrival in Norway. Yellow = increased risk but quarantine not required upon arrival in Norway. Striped areas = not evaluated or insufficient data about transmission, quarantine is required. Norway is marked as grey because it is not subject to the assessments for international travel.
