The Norwegian Institute for Public Health established the Centre for Informed Health Choices to conduct research on how to make research findings more understandable and accessible for everyone.

The Norwegian Institute for Public Health established the Centre for Informed Health Choices to conduct research on how to make research findings more understandable and accessible for everyone.


The centre, established on January 1st 2017, shall contribute to informed health choices by developing and evaluating interventions that

a) make relevant research more available and understandable

b) improve decision makers’ ability to assess health-related claims
