Allen Wilcox is a Senior Investigator in the Epidemiology Branch of the National Institute of Environmental Health Studies, NIH, in Durham NC, USA. He is past president of SER, SPER, and the American Epidemiological Society, and served for 14 years as the Editor-in-Chief of EPIDEMIOLOGY. He is the author of the textbook, Pregnancy and Fertility – An Epidemiologic Perspective. He has an MD from the University of Michigan, a PhD in epidemiology from the University of North Carolina, and an honorary doctoral degree from the University of Bergen. Allen’s research interests are in the areas of fertility, pregnancy, and fetal development.
