We have available a permanent position as researcher in the Centre for Fertility and Health. The researcher employed in this position will in particular investigate the significance of epigenetic aging for various health outcomes. The right candidate will have good opportunities to develop their own research ideas within genetic and epigenetic research that fall under the center's main themes.

We are also hiring researcher in a 2-year position in a project financed by NordForsk entitled «Addressing the smoking paradox in the etiology of COVID-19 through population-based studies». The project is in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. The overall goal of the project is to find possible causal factors for becoming infected and seriously ill from Covid-19. The project will also look at immunity and the effects of infection and vaccination.
