Abstract

The prevalence of gestational diabetes (GDM) is increasing worldwide, and there are growing burdens to healthcare systems due to short- and long-term GDM complications. In 2017, the Norwegian health authorities implemented new diagnostic criteria and treatment guidelines for GDM.

Kari Furu will present results from the study based on a linkage of four Norwegian Health registers: “Trends in GDM prevalence and treatment in Norway during 2013-2018”.
