About the speaker
Martin Tesli is MD PhD with specialization in psychiatry, currently working at Department of mental disorders NIPH and NORMENT CoE Oslo University Hospital. He has experience with molecular genetic studies in schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, in particular the use of polygenic risk scores to investigate underlying brain dysfunction and the validity of the current diagnostic systems.
About the presentation
Tesli will present his ongoing genome-wide association study (GWAS) of ADHD (N~1500 cases/1500 controls) in MoBa, which will be included in the large, international collaborative project Psychiatric Genomics Consortium (PGC). Potentials for further studies using these data will be discussed, in addition to analytical challenges.
