This Friday, Bjørn Olav Åsvold will present at 13:00. Mendelian randomization provides us with opportunities to study modifiable causes of disease by using genetic variants as instrumental variables. He will give an introduction to Mendelian randomization, including its core assumptions, common limitations, and some solutions to avoid pitfalls in Mendelian randomization studies.
