CO-CREATE research and learnings will be presented during a Symposium and Workshop event at the upcoming ISBNPA 2023 conference. The event will be held from 14-17 June 2023, in Uppsala, Sweden.
This will be an opportunity for engaging behavioural nutrition and physical activity experts and researchers in the CO-CREATE project’s methodology, research and co-creation activities.
The CO-CREATE project symposium titled ‘Experiences of policy and research co-creation with young people: Learnings from the CO-CREATE Project’ is scheduled for Thursday 15 June, from 16:15 – 17:30 on the Level 6 Foyer.
This session will present the key findings, learnings and implications related to co-creation with youth, followed by a moderated discussion with project partners and youth activists about the learnings and implications for advancing a wide range of public health policy issues. Participants will leave with more awareness about the importance of engaging youth people in policy discussions and development and have ideas about how they can include young people in their own work in a meaningful way.
You can sign up to attend the workshop titled ‘Introduction to and hand-on practice with system dynamics using the CO-CREATE model on obesity prevention’ upon registration for the conference. The workshop takes place on Wednesday 14 June, from 9:00 – 13:00 in Room A7:115.
This workshop is to explore an interactive model developed within the CO-CREATE project using System Dynamics (SD) modelling. The model is a population-level model demonstrating the drivers and feedback mechanisms governing obesity in adolescents.
We look forward to seeing you at ISBNPA 2023!
