The statistics show the number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Norwegian Immunisation Registry SYSVAK. There may be some delays in registering vaccinations in SYSVAK, so the figures may therefore be adjusted over time. The figures are updated daily on weekdays.

Registration in SYSVAK follows the distribution of vaccines to municipalities and health trusts. Vaccines are distributed early in the week, and detailed registrations will probably be lower on Mondays compared to later in the week. Few vaccines are also given on the weekends, and therefore the latest registrations on Saturdays and Sundays will also be low.

On this page, vaccination coverage is calculated by using population data from Statistics Norway for 1 January 2021. Until 26 January 2022 age has been stated as the age at the time of vaccination. From and including 27 January 2022 the calculation of age of those vaccinated has been changed to be the same age for everyone born in a specific year. That is, calculated age is the year of vaccination minus the year of birth. This change also applies to data back in time.

Data for counties and municipalities are based on the registered address of the vaccinated person, and may not always coincide with the county or municipality where people are living / staying or where they are given the vaccine.

There are more people who have status "not given" in the municipality than in the county, so the total number of vaccinated people may therefore differ between municipality and county.

Norway - number vaccinated

The diagram below shows the number of people vaccinated daily with the 1st and 2nd dose of vaccine against COVID-19 in Norway, from and including 27 December 2020. You can select the county and see the daily number of people vaccinated for each county. The number of vaccinated people is registered by the date when the vaccine was given. There may be a delay from vaccination until the vaccine is registered in the Norwegian Immunisation Registry SYSVAK. The number of vaccinated people will therefore be updated back in time when new notifications arrive.

In cases where the vaccines have been given to people under 12 years of age, these are not included in the gender and age statistics, but are still included in the total number of people vaccinated.
