Effect of treatments for perpetrators of sexual violence in close relationships - Protocol for a review of systematic reviews or a systematic review
Project
|Updated
The Norwegian Institute of Public Health shall conduct a systematic review of research on the treatment of perpetrators of sexual violence in close relationships.
Summary
The Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS) has commissioned the Norwegian Institute of Public Health to conduct a systematic review of research on the treatment of perpetrators of sexual violence in close relationships.
We will conduct systematic literature searches in electronic databases. Two reviewers will independently screen titles, abstracts and full text reports to assess whether they meet our inclusion criteria. We will obtain references that are considered potentially relevant in full text and we will then make a final assessment of which studies to include or exclude. We will extract and analyze data from the selected studies and evaluate the studies methodological quality.
We will also rate our confidence in the results by assessing the certainty of the overall evidence, using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE).
Finally, we will present the included studies and overall results in a report.
