Project
|Updated
In this study, we determine the vaccination coverage of several vaccines in the Norwegian population and to identify social contact patterns - who meets who.
Summary
In this study, we determine the vaccination coverage of several vaccines in the Norwegian population and to identify social contact patterns - who meets who. 4792 people in Norway have been randomly selected from the Population Register and invited to participate. Both children and adults have been invited. Participants fill out a questionnaire on the use of vaccines and demographic information and a diary in which the participant registers all contacts during a particular day. Furthermore, for more information on the vaccination status of the participant, we have obtained vaccination status data from the Norway vaccination register, SYSVAK. The results will be useful among others as basis for models assessing how infectious diseases can spread in Norway
