Go to the home pageRishabh started as a PhD student on May 15 and will be working with us for the next three years. He will focus - among other topics – on the social, health and demographic consequences of technology induced job displacement as part of the DIMJOB project led by Vegard Skirbekk.
Rishabh obtained his Master in Biostatistics and Demography at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) in Mumbai. The title of the Demography thesis is: Trends in Female Labour force participation in India: The role of demographic Factors.
He comes from the National Institute of Medical Statistics in India (ICMR NIMS) where he worked on the project of “Impact of COVID-19 on Maternal and Child Health Services through the public health system in India”.
Rishabh will be working from the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Germany, but will visit CEFH on a regular basis. He will be working on both international datasets that includes relevant information as well as Norwegian registry data. He will be working under the supervision of Vegard Skirbekk (CEFH) and Peter Eibich (MPIDR).
Rishabh will join us remotely from India for the time being.
