About TEDTalks

TED is a non-profit organisation devoted to “Ideas Worth Spreading”. TEDTalks began as a simple attempt to share what happens at TED with the world and were released online. They now have a global audience in the millions.

The TEDx programme is designed to give communities, organisations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through local TED-like experiences. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
