Background
Alexandra Havdahl leads the Center for Genetic Epidemiology and Mental Health at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, and the Psychiatric Genetic Epidemiology (PaGE) research group at Lovisenberg Diaconal Hospital. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Oslo Department of Psychology. Since 2007, she has worked with data collection and research on autism, neurodevelopment and mental disorders in the Norwegian Mother, Father and Child Cohort Study (MoBa), a general population pregnancy cohort run by the NIPH. She participates in several international projects, including as coordinator of the MoBa contribution to Psychiatric Genomics Consortium working groups, and as member of the Lancet Commission on the Future of Care and Clinical Research in Autism.?
