Sammendrag
The public health system in Palestine has rolled out a national electronic registry for maternal and child health (eRegistry) in all the primary healthcare clinics. This study will use retrospective anonymous secondary data on antenatal care and certain birth outcomes from the eRegistry. The sample of data for this study (n= 1400) is sufficient to estimate prevalence of 1% at a 95% confidence interval. First, we will use the data to report on weighted incidences of maternal morbidities. Second, we will use the data to produce different quality indicators for antenatal care and make comparative assessments of the indicators. Finally, we will use the fundal height measures and other data for fetal growth monitoring, and birth weight data to assess the quality of fetal growth monitoring in the public health system in the West Bank.
