How can we maximise the value and use of biobanks through harmonisation? This is the theme of an international conference co-organised by PHOEBE (Promoting Harmonisation of Epidemiological Biobanks in Europe), P3G (Public Population Project in Genomics) and BBMRI (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure) on the 25 - 27 March, 2009 in Brussels, Belgium.
This conference will bring together leading scientists at the cutting-edge of genomic and biobank-based research. It will emphasize new directions for maximising scientific use of the wealth of data and tools becoming available through the international harmonisation of biobanks.
