The report “Norwegian Prescription Database 2004-2007” is the first issue in the planned annual statistics from the Norwegian Prescription Database. The report is written in Norwegian and English and contains general information about the Norwegian Prescription Database and some key figures and comments to selected themes and drug groups. Interlaboratory Comparison on Dioxins in Food
The Department of Analytical Chemistry annually publishes the results from an interlaboratory comparison study on dioxins in food. The objectives of these reports are to assess the in-between laboratory reproducibility, to offer a quality assurance instrument for the participating laboratories, and to assess the readiness of expert laboratories world-wide to determine low levels of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs in food. Please follow the links to the individual reports below:

Rapport 2005:4 Experience and Challenges
This report describes our activities in the different countries and regions of Northern Europe during 2004.

Rapport 2004:5 Voices of Women in the Barents region
The project ”Family Friendly Maternity Care” (FFMC) within the Barents Health Programme 1999-2003 was primarily initiated as a follow-up of a previous project ”Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative” (BFHI). While the BFHI project focused on feeding routines in maternity wards in Northwest Russia, the main objective of FFMC has been care of women and mothers during pregnancy, delivery and the immediate postpartum period. A large number of activities, such as conferences and seminars for doctors and midwives, and production of teaching material have been undertaken. Two questionnaire surveys ”Voices of Women in the Barents Region” were carried out in 2000 and 2002. The results showed an ongoing process of change in Russian maternity wards for the benefit of mothers and babies.

Information about Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) in different languages
Here you will find information on the most common STDs in several different languages. The brochures, which are available in pdf-format, contain information about the most common symptoms of the diseases, possible ways of contraction, prevention opportunities and the treatment offered in Norway today.

The objectives of this collaboration are in line with official Norwegian and Nordic health policy in the adjacent areas; develop the network of surveillance centres, strengthen surveillance and control of infectious diseases, and exchange knowledge. This report describes our activities in the different countries and regions of Northern Europe during 2003.
